I plan to upgrade WbExplorer Lite to WebExplorer Pro. However, I am not sure which one is more suitable, WebExplorer Pro or WebExplorer Server. The following are some concern I want to clarify.
1. What do you mean by "It has only one user support"?
2. Am I able to edit the code for my own need if I purchase WebExplorer Pro.
3. Can I still share files with my friends living in different states and around the world?
4. Is NT challenge/Response availble for user login?
5. Is there an alternative to contact you via email?
Thanks,
Quinn

Hi Quinn,
1. This means it is designed for a single user, i.e. settings/access list can be stored for one user only unlike Server version.
2. General License for both applications comes with encrypted code but if you need to edit the code, you can opt to buy Source Code License. Please see "Pricing" section for the related prices.
3. If you need to set separate permissions for each user, Server version will be more appropriate for your usage. Online administration would allow you to manage your users easily from anywhere. Else you can share files publicly with Pro version.
4. Yes, internal security can be disabled by removing the password. Then you can use NT challenge/Response for login. This way NT permission entries on the file system will apply for the logged in users. However, as I mentioned in answers 1 and 3, the application will still store single settings entry/access list and you will not have the chance to administrate online. You will need to define file system permissions for NT users on the server.
5. Sorry, there is no alternative at this time. I try my best to reply your emails promptly.
