Eliminating Popups?

Has anyone already (successfully or unsuccessfully) tried to eliminate popups from WebExplorer Lite? I would like it to operate in one linear window (without popups) so that I can use it on my Palm device from outside the office, but it doesn't allow popups and target="_blank" stuff.
I already started and some parts (editing a file) seem to work, but would like to avoid parsing the 1300+lines to discover that some part was "unavoidable".

P.S. on the Palm, WElite seems to work (at least the "straight" listing parts), but WE Pro doesn't show up anything on the demo - any clue?
On the 320x320 screen, I'm probably going to simplify the screen anyway, so it's not much more than curiosity.

I am thinking on adding a setting to enable/disable popups with the next version but you can safely do your modification if it's urgent.

WebExplorer Pro uses frames and I don't think the Palm (or other handheld devices) browser would support frames.
