I have set the “Show Hidden File” option to “NO” but am still seeing, what I believe is a hidden file.
I Set the attribute to the file on my PC and then uploaded it to the site using FTP, Dreamweaver, and finally a “Web Explorer Pro” upload, yet the file is still visible.
Either the “hidden” attribute is not being transferred or the option does not work. A Download of the file to a different directory reveals that the attribute on the same file is now NOT set.
Is there another way to set the attribute on a remote Web Server?
Thanks
Steve

Sorry guys. I just found that the Properties button will allow me to HIDE the file and achieve what I want.

Hi Steve,
I was just writing a reply but you figured it out earlier :) Anyway for other's information, attributes of a file can not be transferred by uploading it. You should upload the file and then open the properties of the file in WebExplorer Pro and finally choose "hidden" attribute and apply.
