Upload Issue?

Here's a wierd one... when I mouse over the icons on the top right of the main page, I can see the javascript command in the browser status bar. I can create new files, add new folders, logout and refresh the page. BUT, when I mouse over the upload icon, it tries to access a path directly to the uploads folder. Even the javascript is missing in the status bar as the path appears instead. ALSO, when I had a friend try it from his PC at home, it worked fine... what gives?
