I am evaluating the trial version (2.7) and saw fairly major flaws in the permissions system. I had two root folders created and all users had all permissions to those folder trees. Then I created a third root folder and much of the functionality on the seconde root folder tree disapeared, such as not being able to download. Any idea?

Note that a deny permission entry takes precedence over an allow entry.
Make sure that a group membership does not cause the deny permission.
If you are sure it's a flaw, let me know the exact steps to reproduce it.

Hi,
I replied to the email you sent me as I needed to attach a copy of the Access database that stores the permissions settings. Do you read email responses at that address?

Hi Mike,
I checked the problem and yes it is a bug, thank you for finding it out.
The bug effected only group permissions, the permissions of the last group was being inherited by other groups because of a small typo in the code.
I think the bug occured after a version update.
Anyway, the bug is fixed and I have sent you the updated file via email.
