The following is on my wishlist:
- Active Directory authentication using the FileVista logon screen (so no Microsoft logon window)
- Users logging on with "domain\user" will be authenticated off of AD, users logging on with "user" will be authenticated using the .mdb file or the sql database
- AD Security group checking for access type (e.g. domain security group with FileVista administrators in it).
- In all of the above, the domain user should not be needed in the local user database! (as it kind of defauts the whole Active Directory purpose, if you ask me)

Yes, it may be possible to use Active Directory authentication without using the database but this requires some modification and you will not be able to use the administration page as it depends on the database.
Other than that, we are about to release an ASP.NET user control (ascx) version of the product. It will be possible to integrate it with any ASP.NET project because it does not include it own authentication or administration. It just displays the contents of the given folders according to the given permissions.
