Is there any way that FileVista can be configured to send an email notification to the Root Folder users when changes have been made to the folder?

We plan on adding email notification feature in future versions.

In the mean time, you can use some "Folder monitor" tool which can send emails or run a custom application when any change is made to a specific folder.
