the editor copes with editing an ASP file

I wondered how the editor copes with editing an ASP file. 

The source code of ASP file would primarily contain html markup, ASP code, and Dreamweaver Template code.

Can the Editor be set to just show and edit the HTML code inside the Editable Region, and hide all other code to stop the user editing it ?

Sorry, the editor is a basic WSYIWYG editor so it does not have the ability to separate ASP and HTML portions.
