As far as I can tell the latest version of Flash (10.0.12.36) breaks the upload function in FileVista. After selecting the upload button and displaying the Upload Files dialogue box the Add button no longer works. This affects both IE and FireFox.
This is a pretty big problem for us. Can anyone recommend a fix or a workaround?

Yes, Flash 10 includes some security changes which effects flash upload mode. However, there is a workaround and we are working on it. This workaround will be included in the next release but for testing purposes I have sent you the updated files.

We have recieved the update and the upload is working fine in both IE and Firefox. GleamTech were very responsive to the problem and supplied the update very quickly. The delay in responding to this thread is all mine.

Do you have the updated files for FileVistaControl as well? I'm currently running 1.5.9 and the Flash upload doesn't work in FF with Flash 10 installed. It's flaky on any browser running Flash 10 so any help would be appreciated. We've been using the Browser upload version since production rollout so no big deal, but there has recently been a push to use the Flash version.

While searching through my project's source code I found it was using an older swfupload.swf and swfupload.js file. I have since found the correct source code files, rebuilt the project, and all is well. Please disregard.

Amel... I found those files in in the 1.6 release of FileVistaControl. We had an older version and an automated email was sent to give us the ability to download it. November 4, 2008 was the date of the automated email.

This is an old problem which effect older versions of the products. If you have FileVista version 3.5 minumum or FileVistaControl version 1.6 minumum, then you don't need any fix.
