Hello sir, love your software. as a developer myself I know good software when I see it.

So enough of that, I tried just uploading the new files into my current site but getting the cannot find key in directory error when trying to login. Already tried the reset setup back to 0 but getting unique key error since it has already setup once before with the old version.

The key is still in the config file but missing something. Any way to get this resolved without reinstalling?

Hi Adam,
Thanks for your comments.
It seems you uploaded the new files but not ran the update wizard right after as told in the update instructions. This wizard will change your database structure for the new version so if skipped you would get missing key errors.

By the way, we missed a point in update instructions, you need to change the UpdateComplete key to 0 in App_Data/FileVista.config to be able to run the update wizard as told in step 7. If there is no key, please add it like this:

<add key="UpdateComplete" value="0" />

You may also need to force a restart of the application by saving web.config to get rid of the error state.
