Hide Folder

Is there a way to hide a subfolder for a user? 
I created a root folder (eg customers) and several subfolders. Each subfolder should only be visible for certain users.
I get an "access denied" error.

As of v3.5, denying to list contents of the subfolders is possible but they can not be hidden. I have noted this for next version.
