My case is diferent, I have inhouse servers and it's deniing me permision to create folder's' Its on the root g:the settings are correct I think. it says permision denied line 340

Does the error occur when you try to create folders? If so, this is all about the appropriate permissions of that folder.

I get it to work in the root directory just fine, g:\ the disk has everybody/totalcontrol. I'm trying to set this up so that I can place this in say a user directory. have done this by changing the names of the file's. But ones
I create a folder i cannot open it in the users directory. I can however upload files in there root. I just cant browse around in there folders.

If your root folder "g:\" has everybody/total control, just make sure that the child objects inherit it's parent's permissions. I think this is possible by checking the related option on properties page of that parent folder.
