Scheduling for file upload

Dear Sir/Madam,
We had purchased the license of source code for FileVista now we want to add new scheduling feature in the source code.

What exactly we want is user will select future date to upload the files on server.How we can upload the selected file on the server on specified date. 


We have third party tool for zipping now what we want is when we are uploading the file the selected file should replace with that zip file is it possible on upload.click event.

Uploads are always initiated by users as this is a web application and it cannot start to upload files by itself so this task seems to be more suitable for a desktop application.
