overwrite document message popup

I noticed in the demo version that none message prevents the user to overwrite 
an existing document during the upload !
Is this the same thing  with the last verison 3.6 ?

None searching tool available ?

I have the latest version and it does not have a warning for overwriting files.  Also, there is no search feature in the version I have.

There is no warning message but you can control overwriting with "Edit" permission. If you disable this permission, a warning message will appear and stop upload.
