4 suggestions for ver 4.0 which is to be released soon

Hello Cem,

I have 4 suggestions for new FileVista ver 4 which would be very useful to implement.
According .NET possibilities these options are possible to implement...

1. user basis quota for file size download-upload, for example under user "properties" it would be nice to
have an option which can say for example "this" user can upload only 1 GB and download only 3 GB
and IF this user reached his quota both for download and upload than he should receive an message
upload and/or download quota have reached the limit...

2. user basis quota for how many files one user can download-upload for example in the "user" properties
it would be nice to have an option which can say "this" user can download 10 files and upload 20 files
regardless how big these files are 2 GB or 4 GB ..... nevermind, the limit is "how many" files....

3. user basis download-upload speed, for example under "user" properties it would be nice to have an option
which can say "this" user can upload max with 500 KB/ps and download max 1 MB/ps
this will save the bandwidth.... so other can download and upload .....faster

4. user basis "time" login, for example in the "user" properties it would be nice to have an option which can say
"this" user is able to log-in only between: 07:00 - 16:00 and after this his account should be blocked until
next day 07:00 and so on.....

The reason I suggest these 4 options are because many of the company users are not following the company policy,
they are sharing large files with another users on the internet and using the company bandwidth and server resources.....

In our case the FileVista is used for busines purposes and users can only upload and download files during working day.

I mentioned 4 options because it`s much more easy to create the "strong" policy which users "must" follow ....

I hope You will read trough these 4 options and think about them....

Thank You Cem !
Best regards
Amel

Hi Amel,
Thanks for your suggestions, I have noted them. I also think managing bandwidth limits would be handy.
