installation successful but admin can't log in right after configuration

Hi,

I set up a new installation using the v4 source code, excluding the vdb4 license and configured it to use a sql express server.
the setup works fine and I can make the proper configurations when I go to the site the first time. There I set the admin password and then it takes me to the login screen for the first time.

I enter my credentials and it always tells me that my password is wrong. I Have tried this several times now and reinstalled it a lot of times even using "123" as password just to make sure I'm not too stupid to enter it correctly.

each time after 5 tries it locks out the admin user too. So I have to begin all over again.

Anything I'm doing wrong?

This is strange, I recommend you to force refresh (CTRL + F5) browser on the login page to clear the cache of old files (js files) in case you are using the same folder (or URL) for the new installation. Let me know.
