any idea when the new version will be ready.. I have been trying to get the documents to bring up "Save As" box. any one have any ideas in the mean time

You should right-click on the a of a file to reach "Save Target As" option.

That is a feature of WebExplorer Pro and probably I won't add it to WebExplorer Free. What's wrong with "Save Target As" option, it's handy.

Theres nothing "Wrong" with that. It just would be nice to have the "Save As" box pop up. the only way i could get it to do that was to change the file properties in Folder Options/ File Types/ then select the file type ie .doc and then tick the "Comfirm after Download" tick box

The feature you request requires an external object which may not be installed on every server. WebExplorer free is a generic and basic file manager so I don't want to increase the dependency. Anyway, I may give it a thought later.
