We had purchased a key for this product back when it was FileVista v1.7. I tried to upgrade to FileUltimate v2.1 but it is giving me an error of "This license key is not valid!" Do we need to purchase a new license key? I was able to use the old key up to v1.9.

Hi Ben,
License keys are changed with each major version release so you need to purchase a new license key. Note that we offer discounts for upgrading license keys. The latest major version for FileUltimate is v3.0. I would recommend you to upgrade to this version. When you have a v3.x license, you get all the minor versions (i.e till v3.9) without a charge. We also do not generate license keys for older versions so it's not possible to upgrade to FileUltimate v2.1
