File/folder security trimming

Currently evaluating control features.  Is security trimming a feature for FileUltimate? That is, if user is assigned access to a root folder but restricted to some sub-folders, is it possible to hide those folders for which they do not have access?

If Traverse permission is denied on the root folder then user will not be able to browse the sub-folders. However he will still see the name of the sub-folders in the root-folder list. You can also allow Traverse and List permission on the root folder and deny List permission on specific sub-folders.
