Error 500.19 - Internal Server Error

Hi,

I downloaded the FileVista 4.6 installer on my Windows Server 2008 machine and ran the install.

It did install ASP NET  Framework 4 and finished the install.

But after the install was complete, it opened IE and tried to load the FileVista page 'www.ag-p.com/filevista/" and got the error:

HTTP Error 50.19 - Internal Server Error
The requested page cannot be accessed because the related configuration data for the page is invalid.

further down the window it says "Error Code 0x80070005"
Then
Config Error "Cannot read configuration file due to insufficient permissions"
Config file \\?\C:\inetpub\vhosts\ag-p.com\httpdocs\web.config


When looking for that file in Windows Explorer on the server, I don't see a file named "web.config" in that httpdocs folder.

I have the same problem on my server 2012 system.  Did you get your's sorted out?

I got it working.  When .net 4.0 showed up in the apppool, I assumed it was installed properly.  I went into roles and found that it wasn't. Once It was installed properly, everything was fine.
