It will not create a new directory. i cn upload, download etc everythgin works except tthe new folder creation. any ideas? just says an error occrued.

This sounds like a NTFS permission issue again. Please check the permissions on that folder and see if "Create Folders / Append Data" permission is allowed. Contact your server administrator if you are not able to do it by yourself.
