file open

Why when I double click on file (ie pdf document) system ask me TWICE about open this file ? This problem doesn't exist when I try to open Word document.

This is probably a IE related problem, what's the version causing this problem? You may need to update your browser.

I use the the latest version 6.0sp1. I don't have problem with Word, Excel. But when I click on pdf or jpg file IE ask me twice.

I am using the same version of IE too but I don't experience this problem. I think this may be caused by Windows settings for file types. Please follow these steps:

1. Double-click My Computer.
2. On the View menu, click Folder Options.
3. On the File Types tab, click the appropriate file type (pdf, jpg) in the Registered File Types box.
4. Click Edit.
5. Click to select the Confirm Open After Download check box. 
6. Click OK, and then click OK.

Then try again to double-click on the file types causing the problem. Please send me feedback.

1. When I unchecked this option IE ask me ONCE.
2. When I checked this option IE ask me TWICE but when I use WexExplorerFree IE ask me ONCE !
