Filename display & Filtering

How can I remove the .ext of a filename when it's displayed?

Also, is it possible to ignore the folders in a given directory ie not display them.

And can the contents of the folder be filtered, for example only display .pdf files, ignoring .doc files etc.

I will take these suggestions into consideration for the next release. For a workaround, you can hide subfolders by commenting out lines 480 to 500.
