Deny Upload/Delete/Create

I just want to allow users a place to have an easy listing of files to click on. I do not want them to be able to upload, create files/folders, or delete files/folders. Is there anyway to disable this on the free version?

Thanx.

OK!  I Did It!
Changed the default.asp page to have dark/light grey colors rather than that crazy blue stuff. also changed the alinks.

Didn't want my visitors to have the ability to upload, edit, delete, etc., so i removed the 4 buttons above the "status" box in the upper right corner. Also removed the action column w/ the title "Actions" and the 3 buttons for each file.

Worx like a charm.

Now all i need is a way so that when a user clicks on a file, say a MS Word file, it will give the option to download and save, rathern than Open or Save. Opening up a Word/PPT file in IE or Nutscrape is a pain in the a$$.

Any ideas, let me know.

Thanx.

Chris,
When you click on a file of any type in WebExplorer Free, the browser should display "File Download" dialog and prompt for "Open" and "Save" actions. When the user hits "Save", the download is done as expected.

So I understand that, in your case, this dialog doesn't come up and the word document is opened within the browser window instead?

If this is your case please tell me the browser (IE or Netscape) versions that don't work as expected. I will try to fix the problem.
