Second window opens on upload/file details

When I look at file/folder details or go to do an upload, a small window with about:blank for the title opens, then a larger window with the actual page displayed in it. It is supposed to open the page in this second window or in the smaller window? Is there a way to make it open in the smaller window to avoid having to close the about:blank window after each file info/upload?

Sorry - This problem appears to have been a glitch in the browser. I first noticed that it was only happening on my machine, and after a reboot it has resolved itself.
