We are working on a project and we have chosen the webexplorer free version for our purposes, but we have the following problem and we would like to solve it. The problem is that we have the webexplorer free version running on a server and we would like to browse the files storaged in other server.
is it possible with the webExplorer free version?
if it is possible what do i have to do? and if it is not are there one of your products able to do it?
Thanks.

Yes, you can do what you mentioned with WebExplorer Free. You should just create a server share and use it as your root folder (in \server\share format).

I am trying to do this myself. I have setup a share on a remote server (limited access) and I am trying to see the files on the share.
I have edited the config.asp and changed the Const WexRoot line to try the following"
z:\ (does not work, local mount drive on the server)
\servername\share (does not seem to try to connect)
\\servername\share (same as above)
Idea's?
Thanks
Dave
